Jude Stewart is an author and journalist. She writes about design and culture for Slate, Fast Company, Design, AIGA Eye on Design, and Design Observer. She is also a contributing editor at PRINT magazine. I worked with Jude on the release of her newest book, PATTERNALIA: An Unconventional History of Polka Dots, Stripes, Plaid, Camouflage, & Other Graphic Patterns. This book discusses the history and culture of patterns like polka dots, squares, seersucker, gingham and tartan.
